ENGLEWOOD — Englewood residents can pick up free food and produce packages Friday morning.

Free groceries are available 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday in front of the Ogden Park Field House, 6500 S. Racine Ave. No ID or registration required, and all social distancing guidelines will be observed.

Five area aldermen teamed up for the effort: Roderick Sawyer (6th), David Moore (17th), Stephanie Coleman (16th), Jeanette Taylor (20th) and Raymond Lopez (15th).

The giveaway is also sponsored by New City Church and Christmas In The Wards.
