LINCOLN PARK — Two men were shot late Wednesday near Diversey Harbor in Lincoln Park.
About 10:40 p.m., the men, 21 and 29, were standing on the sidewalk in the 2600 block of North Cannon Drive when someone fire shots at them from a black car, police said.
The men were hit in their legs and taken in good condition to St. Joseph Hospital, police said.
No one was in custody Thursday morning.
The driver blew a stop sign and swerved through a bike lane before hitting a 93-year-old woman in the crosswalk, police said.
The church is an official Chicago landmark and on the National Register of Historic Places. Church leaders are working with a restoration company to make repairs.
