ROGERS PARK — A 26-year-old man was fatally shot inside the Morse “L” station Tuesday, police said.
About 6 p.m., the man was inside the station in the 1400 block of West Morse Avenue in Rogers Park when someone in a car pulled up and shot the man in his abdomen, police said.
The man was taken to St. Francis Hospital in critical condition and died, police said.
A spokesperson for the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the man died but could not immediately release his name.
No one is in custody. Detectives are investigating.
