CHICAGO — The city will get more sun this week — a big change from the dreary, gray start September had.

Monday will be mostly sunny with an expected high of 70 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tuesday will get even more sun and will hit 77 degrees.

Wednesday is expected to be the warmest day of the week, with a high of 82, and it’ll be sunny, according to the National Weather Service.

The city will cool off after that, dipping to 69 degrees Thursday and 63 degrees Friday, but the skies will remain largely cloud-free.

Saturday and Sunday will remain sunny but with high temperatures in the high 60s to low 70s.
