Here’s How To Donate School Supplies To Families At Hibbard Elementary, Albany Park Multicultural Academy

Honore Storage and the North River Commission hope to collect an entire storage unit’s worth of school supplies for families of two Albany Park schools.

Chicago students got better grades and failed fewer classes this past spring, even as they struggled with the abrupt shift to remote learning.

ALBANY PARK — Honore Storage and the North River Commission want to collect an entire storage unit’s worth of school supplies for students at Hibbard Elementary School and Albany Park Multicultural Academy.

Those who want to contribute can bring supplies to the contactless dropoff location in the lobby of Honore Storage, 3215 W. Lawrence Ave. Donations are accepted 6 a.m.-10 p.m. daily through Aug. 31.

Headphones and earbuds could be particularly needed as Frank Uhler, co-founder of Honore Storage, said he was told they’ll be “really important” as students go through remote learning.
