DOWNTOWN — Navy Pier is hosting a blood drive with the American Red Cross on Monday and Tuesday.
The drive will run 9 a.m.-3 p.m at the west end of Navy Pier within its Food Experience, according to a press release. Those interested in donating should schedule an appointment online with the Red Cross. Slots will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
Everyone who tries to donate will receive free tickets to the Centennial Wheel at Navy Pier, cooler bags and a $5 Amazon gift card.
Officials have urged people to donate blood, warning there’s been a shortage during the coronavirus pandemic.
Navy Pier plans to begin a phased reopening starting Wednesday.
