CHATHAM — A man died after he was pushed in front of an ‘L’ train in Chatham early Friday, police said.
At 12:16 a.m., the man was on the 87th Street Red Line platform, 15 W. 87th St., when he and another man began arguing. The man punched the victim and pushed him onto the tracks where he was hit by an oncoming train, police said.
The victim, who has not been identified yet, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
A man was taken into custody at the scene, police said. Area Two detectives are investigating.
