BUCKTOWN — Chicago police are investigating gunfire that took place shortly after noon Thursday in the 2300 block of West Medill Avenue in Bucktown.
No one was wounded, but at least two shots were fired. At least one bullet tore through the back of a parked car and hit its front windshield, police said.
Officers from the Shakespeare Police District on the scene told a Block Club reporter they recovered two .45 shell casings and one bullet. Officers also said they would be reviewing camera footage from neighbors.
Witnesses described the shooters as two teenagers.
During the shooting, a gray car sped west on Medill Avenue before turning north onto Western Avenue, witnesses said.
