WICKER PARK — The outdoor Wicker Park Farmers Market has been postponed to July due to COVID-19, but you can still support local farmers by shopping at a virtual market.

Shoppers can preorder from Iron Creek Organic Farm, Seedling Fruit Farm and Petals Farm. Pickups will take place 8:30-10:30 a.m. Sundays at Big Star, 1531 N. Damen Ave.

Additional vendors and pickup locations will be announced later via social media. You can view a list of vendors and pickup options and place your orders online.

Each farm has the following preorder deadlines:

  • Iron Creek Organic Farm: 2 p.m. Saturdays
  • Seedling Fruit Farm: noon Thursdays
  • Petals Farm: noon Saturdays

Founded in 2000, the Wicker Park Farmers Market is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The market is produced by the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce.

The chamber plans to resume its outdoor market Sundays starting July 5 through Oct. 24 at Wicker Park, 1425 N. Damen Ave. Social distancing guiltiness will be in place. Like last year, the market will continue being plastic-free.
