OAKLAND — Intermittent lane closures will hit southbound Lake Shore Drive starting Monday, as crews repair pavement south of Oakwood Boulevard.

Repairs will last about two weeks, with only one lane open for a total of four days over that period, according to the Chicago Department of Transportation.

“The contractor will work to maintain two travel lanes for the remainder of the two-week period,” according to CDOT. Working hours will be from 7 a.m.–4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

There will be no posted detour, so drivers should be prepared for delays or find an alternate route.
