LINCOLN SQUARE — For the first time since the state’s dine-in ban, Fork is offering delivery and takeout to customers.

Eight weeks ago, Gov. JB Pritzker ordered all Illinois bars and restaurants closed for in-person dining.

Fork manager Steve Kohl said Friday was the first day the restaurant has been open since then.

“We started taking orders around 4 p.m. and will be here moving forward for orders,” Kohl said.

The restaurant at 4600 N. Lincoln Ave. will also take orders starting 11 a.m. Saturday. Moving forward, regular hours will be 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday for pickup and delivery, Kohl said.

“We’ll have a special menu on our website and will also be offering retail for wine, beer, liquor, cheese and charcuterie,” Kohl said.

Fork will soon release brunch and lunch hours on its website.
