ROGERS PARK — Crews are working to resurface Sheridan Road in Rogers Park, a project that will likely last through the spring.

Work was scheduled to ramp up this week on resurfacing Sheridan Road between Touhy and Devon avenues, Ald. Maria Hadden (49th) said in an email to constituents. The project would include street surface repaving, curb and gutter replacement, bus pad construction and sidewalk improvements.

People’s Gas will also be doing utility work along Sheridan Road, according to the city’s permit database.

Parking restrictions will be required along the 1-mile stretch of road that is to be resurfaced. Work on the project is scheduled to be completed by end of June, according to Hadden.
