IRVING PARK — A group of men impersonating police officers robbed a man outside a 7-Eleven in Irving Park early Monday.
The man was outside the store at 3401 W. Irving Park Road at 1 a.m. Monday when an SUV pulled up. Two men got out, claimed to be police officers and demanded to see the victim’s ID.
When he pulled out his wallet, a third man got out of the SUV and snatched the wallet from him. The three men then returned to the SUV and drove off, police said.
The victim wasn’t injured and Area North Detectives are investigating.
