PILSEN — One man was killed and two men were wounded in early morning shooting Wednesday in Pilsen, police said.
At 4:06 a.m., the three men were walking in the 2300 block of West 23rd Street when a car pulled up and two men inside the car got out and began firing multiple shots, police said.
A 25-year-old was shot in his butt and taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition. He was later pronounced dead at 10:45 a.m., Kellie Bartoli, a police spokeswoman said.
A 23 year-old was shot in his left thigh was listed in good condition at Mt. Sinai Hospital. A 19-year-old man was shot on the left side of his neck and taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.
Police are investigating the shooting. No one is in custody and no further information was immediately available.
