CHICAGO — CD One Price Cleaners, a laundromat with multiple locations in the Chicago area, is offering emergency responders and healthcare workers free laundry services during the coronavirus crisis.
The offer is for 20 pounds of free wash and fold every week through the end of April, according posts on social media.
Healthcare workers, police officers, firefighters and other emergency responders are all eligible.
“Thank you for all of the heroic efforts to keep our communities safe,” a flier reads.

An attempt to reach the laundromat wasn’t immediately successful Monday afternoon.
The laundromat has locations in Lincoln Park, Lakeview, the South Loop and Mt. Greenwood. It also has several locations in the Chicago suburbs and in other states, including Indiana, Minnesota and Missouri.
