CHICAGO — Beat Kitchen is opening a location on the Riverwalk this spring.

The spot will have an indoor space with a full kitchen, indoor seating, a punk-themed bar and a walk-up window for passersby, according to a news release. The grand opening was April 2, though it could be delayed by the coronavirus outbreak.

Beat Kitchen will serve up pizza, taco and salads with gluten-free and vegan options. There will also be a full bar.

There will be events there with local musicians and DJs, according to the news release.

The original Beat Kitichen turns 30 this year. It’s at 2100 W. Belmont Ave.

The Riverwalk location will be open 10 a.m.-9 p.m. daily until mid-December, weather depending, under the Michigan Avenue stairs near the corner of Michigan Avenue and Wacker Drive.
