DOWNTOWN — Steeterville just got a little sweeter.
Sweet Mandy B’s, a beloved bakery that started in Lincoln Park, opened up a shop this weekend at 254 E. Ontario St. on the Near North Side, according to a news release. That’s the second location for the bakeshop, which serves classic baked goods.
The Steeterville location’s menu will feature iconic treats like cookies, brownies, cupcakes and small cakes, and customers will be able to grab breakfast items like cinnamon rolls and muffins.
Sweet Mandy B’s will also serve coffee through a partnership with Big Shoulders Coffee.
The Streeterville shop is 2,800 square feet and is decorated with bright and pastel colors. There’s seating for up to 25 guests in booths and at a drink rail, and customers will be able to watch as food is baked, decorated and put on display.
The Streeterville location is open 7 a.m.-8 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday-Sunday at 254 E. Ontario St.
