RAVENSWOOD MANOR — A teenager was hit by a car while crossing the street in Ravenswood Manor Monday afternoon.

The 14-year-old girl was crossing the street around 4:30 p.m. Monday in the 4700 block of North Albany Avenue when a white sedan hit her right side before driving away, police said.

The teenager headed home before going to Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, 225 E. Chicago for treatment. She was later released.

Police are still investigating and did not provide a description of the vehicle. No one was in custody Tuesday.
