FULTON MARKET — When Mondelēz moves into its new Fulton Market headquarters this spring, the Oreo cookie maker will also be opening a cafe and bakery.
The company, which makes Cadbury, Toblerone, Ritz crackers, Triscuits and other snack foods, is teaming up with restaurant group 16” On Center to open a ground-floor bakery and cafe in its headquarters called Good Ambler at 905 W. Fulton Market St.
When it opens, Good Ambler will offer a full coffee program and sweet and savory pastries. Pastry chef Kevin McCormick is cooking up new treats for the spot, including cajate caramels, vanilla lime bon bons and an “Elvis Chocolate bar” with caramelized bananas and peanut butter crunch.
The menu will also feature quiche, specialty toasts, pies and tarts. Some offerings will be inspired by Mondelēz brands.
Industry veteran Dylan Stewart will lead the Good Ambler team.
“Good Ambler provides a welcoming neighborhood gathering place that brings the sensory experience of fine chocolates and delicious baked goods – reflecting the core of the Mondelēz International business – to life in a different way for consumers,” Brigette Wolf, head of SnackFutures Innovation Mondelēz International, said in a news release.

DineAmic Hospitality also plans to open a Greek restaurant on the ground floor of the new Mondelez headquarters in the fall.
In January 2019, Mondelēz International announced it would follow Google and McDonald’s, relocating its global headquarters to Fulton Market by April 2020.

About 400 corporate employees are expected to move into the company’s new Fulton Market offices.
