CHICAGO — A masked man has robbed two Northwest Side Subway restaurants, police said.
The man walked into the Subways wearing a mask, took out a large knife and robbed the employees, according to a Chicago Police business alert. Once the man got money, he ran off.
The robberies occurred:
- 9:35 p.m. Thursday in the 5200 block of North Nagle Avenue
- 7:50 p.m. Sunday in the 4300 block of West Irving Park Road
The robber was 16-25 years old, white, 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-11 and 155-185 pounds, police said. He wore a black ski mask, black gloves, blue jeans and white shoes.
