CHICAGO — Five burglars cut through a wall to get to a Near North Side jewelry store early Tuesday, police said.
At 1:52 a.m., the men broke the front lock to an emptry storefront in the 1400 block of North Halsted Street, police said.
Once inside, they cut a hole through the drywall to get to a jewelry store next door.
The men stole an unknown amount of jewelry from the store and were last seen running west on Blackhawk Street, police said.
No one was in custody.
