CHICAGO — A woman and the man attempting to rob her shot at each other Thursday night in Little Village, police said.
At 6:51 p.m., the woman, 33, was in the 4100 block of West 24th Place when a man came up to her, took out a gun and tried to rob her, police said.
The woman refused to give the man anything and then took out a gun of her own, police said. The two shot at each other, but no one was hit.
The would-be robber ran off, police said. No one was in custody and an investigation was ongoing.
The woman had a valid Concealed Carry license.
