POLISH TRIANGLE — The Division Street CTA Blue Line station will continue to undergo construction until mid-March, according to an update from the CTA.
From now until at least March 13 at the earliest, the stairway at the northeast corner of Division Street and Ashland Avenue will be closed for repairs.
The repairs are part of the CTA’s $492 million “Your New Blue” project, which aims to update the Division, Chicago and Grand avenue train stops. These stops were originally constructed in 1951.
Planned improvements at these stops include new kiosks, glazed wall tiles, repainted ceilings, new lighting, new escalator, new furniture and other changes.
