CHICAGO — A man tried to lure a 10-year-old girl Wednesday in Lincoln Park, police said.
At 9 a.m., the girl was walking in the 1600 block of North Orchard Street when the man came up to her from behind and said, “Hey, princess, where are you going? Can I take you?” according to a Chicago Police community alert.

The man was black, 30-40 years old, had light facial hair and wore a black skull cap, red hooded sweatshirt and baggy blue jeans with light brown Timberland boots, police said.
