ANDERSONVILLE — Andersonville Restaurant Week returns on Friday, with six new neighborhood restaurants getting in on the promotional event.
The fourth annual restaurant week will run Friday through March 1, with restaurants offering $10, $20 or $30 specials and prix fixe menus.
New to this year’s event are: Oda Mediterranean Cuisine, Gadabout, Little Madrid, Uvae Kitchen & Wine Bar, Francesca’s Bryn Mawr and Fat Chris’s Pizza and Such.
At least 24 Andersonville restaurants will participate in restaurant week, offering a variety of brunch, lunch and dinner prix fixe menus and drink specials, according to the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce, which organizes the event.
Gadabout will offer a $30 prix fixe menu of grilled broccoli (pictured above), chicken thighs and key lime pops. Little Madrid will offer a $20 paella and appetizer deal and Uvae will have a $30 prix fixe menu with three wine pairings.
“We are excited to offer guests the opportunity to experience our new restaurant with customized food and wine pairings,” said Lindsey Anderson, owner of Uvae Kitchen & Wine Bar.
The Swedish American Museum is even getting in on the action, as the facility will host a semlor (or Swedish, sweet Lenten buns) cafe next Tuesday and a herring breakfast on March 1.
Diners will not need a ticket for the event.
