NORTH PARK — Police are warning neighbors after three burglaries were reported in North Park last month.

In two of the burglaries, a man wearing a blue coat forced the front door of the home open. In another case, the burglar accessed the home through a kitchen window, police said.

The first burglary happened around 11:53 a.m. Jan. 13 in the 5300 block of North Bernard Street.

The other burglaries happened sometime during the day on Jan. 28 in the 5500 block of North Spaulding Avenue and the 5100 block of North Kilbourn Avenue, police said.

The three break-ins happened in January but police issued a public safety alert on Friday.

Area North detectives are still investigating.
