Rainbow Cone Is Reopening And Giving Away Free Ice Cream

BEVERLY — Rainbow Cone is coming back.

The beloved South Side ice cream shop had closed up shop for the winter, but it returns on on Feb. 12. And it has a special offer when it returns: Buy one rainbow cone and you’ll get a second one for free.

Rainbow Cone cones feature chocolate, strawberry, Palmer House and pistachio ice cream with orange sherbet, all placed upon a cone in beautiful slabs.

The offer runs Feb. 12-16 at the shop, 9233 S. Western Ave. A second location at Navy Pier is open at 600 E. Grand Ave.

Besides ice cream, cakes and cake rolls, Rainbow Cone now sells merch for its biggest fans.
