Man Exposed Himself To Lane Tech Student Walking Home From School, Police Say

An 18-year-old student was walking home from school when a man in a gold, four-door Honda pulled up next to her and touched himself, police said.

NORTH CENTER — Police say a man exposed himself to a teenage girl near Lane Tach High School on Monday.

At 12:40 p.m. Monday, an 18-year-old student was walking home from school in the 3400 block of North Western Avenue when a man in a gold, four-door Honda pulled up next to her, police said.

The man was was driving south on Western Avenue and tried to talk to the student as she was walking. During the conversation, he exposed himself and began touching himself inappropriately, police said.

When the girl screamed for help, the man drove east on Roscoe Street.

The victim described the offender as a white man, 20-30 years old with reddish hair. He wore a black hat.
