CHICAGO — A blues musician was stabbed Tuesday afternoon at the Jackson Red Line station.
At 1:35 p.m., the victim, a 26-year-old man, was on the train platform in the 200 block of South State Street when a woman walked up to him and started arguing with him, police said.
The woman took out a knife, cut the man and ran away, police said. She was taken into custody and charges were pending.
The man had a laceration on his left arm and was taken to Northwestern Hospital in fair condition.
A video from Fox 32’s Dane Placko showed the man’s red, electric guitar smashed, with pieces of it on the tracks.
