IRVING PARK — A burglary was reported at Cermak Fresh Market in Irving Park early Wednesday, police said.

At about 5 a.m., a store supervisor arrived at the Cermak Fresh Market, 4234 N. Kedzie Ave., and called police after seeing the front glass door was damaged, police said.

Video footage shows someone driving up to the store, getting out of a car and smashing a front door, police said. There are at least seven security cameras on the block.

After stealing cash and other items from the grocery store, the person fled in the car, police said. 

The damaged door has been temporarily repaired with a piece of metal as of Thursday morning.

No other information was available. Area North detectives are investigating.
