CHICAGO — Bicyclists will take over Daley Plaza next week for the Active Transportation Alliance’s Winter Bike Rally.
The group is inviting bicyclists to met up in the morning and enjoy Dark Matter coffee and a slice of Eli’s cheesecake, grab free gifts from sponsors and chat with other cyclists, according to its website. Those who register will also be entered into a raffle for a $150 gift card to Kozy’s Cyclery.
The event is meant to show that, despite Chicago’s chilly winter weather, bicyclists don’t have to set aside their rides.
The rally is 7-9 a.m. Jan. 24 at Daley Plaza. Registration is available online.
