Little Village — A 23-year-old man was killed and a 22-year-old woman was wounded in a shooting Thursday night in Little Village, police said.

At 9:15 p.m., the man and woman were walking in the 3200 block of West 24th Street when two masked men walked up from behind, police said.

As the man and woman turned around, the masked men began firing several gunshots before heading eastbound on 24th Street, then southbound on Sawyer Avenue, police said.

The 23-year-old man was shot in his chest and leg and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The 22-year-old woman was shot in her right hip and leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital. Her condition has stabilized, police said. 

No one is in custody and Area Central detectives are investigating.
