MUSEUM CAMPUS — The Adler Planetarium, Field Museum and Shedd Aquarium have several free days in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

All of the institutions will be free on Monday — which is Martin Luther King Jr. Day — for Illinois residents. Those interested in visiting will need to bring proof of residency.

Here’s the schedule:

  • Adler Planetarium: Free Monday-Wednesday
  • Field Museum: Free Monday-Wednesday and Jan. 29
  • Shedd Aquarium: Free Thursday-Monday. On Monday, the aquarium will stay open until 9 p.m.

The Shedd Aquarium has released its schedule for every free day it will have in 2020, and the Field Museum will be free for all of February.
