NEAR WEST SIDE— Two men in cars at a Near West Side intersection were wounded in a shooting Monday, police said.
At 2:05 p.m., the men were in separate cars waiting at an intersection in the 2000 block of West Jackson Boulevard when they heard gunshots and felt pain, police said.
A 59-year-old was shot in his left thigh and taken to Stroger Hospital where his condition had stabilized, police said.
A 24-year-old was shot in his right foot and left calf. He was taken to Stroger Hospital where his condition had stabilized, police said.
No arrest has been made and police are investigating.
