GRAND BOULEVARD — The Chicago Urban League is hosting a five-day bootcamp for young adults to help them get ready for the workforce in January.
The Workforce Boot Camp will offer courses on project management, employability skills, resume writing and interviewing techniques. There will also be an opportunity to network with area professionals.
The boot camp will end with a job fair, where employers from various industries will be conducting onsite interviews. There may also be paid special project work and internship opportunities after the program ends.
The Chicago Urban League will provide transportation, business clothing and food for all participants. You must be between the ages of 18-24 to attend.
An orientation will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at Urban League headquarters, 4510 S. Michigan Ave. Registration is free.
