ROGERS PARK — Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a man wanted in three armed robberies of businesses in Rogers Park.
Employees of at least three businesses in the neighborhood have been robbed at gunpoint since Dec. 13, police said in a community alert. In each case, the robber walks into the business before pulling out a handgun and robbing the business, employees and customers of their money, according to police.
The incidents took place:
- About 8:11 p.m. on Dec. 13 at a business in the 6500 block of North Clark Street
- About 6:18 p.m. on Dec. 18 at a business in the 6900 block of North Clark Street
- About 7:55 p.m. Monday at a business in the 1700 block of West Lunt Avenue
The robber is described by police as a black or Hispanic man, aged about 30-35 years, standing between 5-feet-10 and 6-foot-1 and weighing about 200-220 pounds. He was seen wearing a hat and a scarf to conceal his face, according to police.
