ALBANY PARK — An ATM machine was stolen from a business early Thursday morning near the intersection of Montrose and Kimball avenues, according to police.

At about 4:20 a.m. Thursday, the glass front door of a store in the 3200 block of West Montrose Avenue was smashed open, police said.

Someone then stole the ATM inside the store, police said.

The store was closed at the time of the theft. It’s unclear how many people were involved in the ATM’s removal, police said.

Area North detectives are investigating.
