WEST TOWN — Someone decorated protected bike lane bollards in West Town and River West — and people are loving it.
A holiday vigilante (or vigilantes) brought Christmas cheer to bollards along Milwaukee Avenue near Augusta Boulevard and Erie Street.
Cyclists heading to and from work started spotting the bells and sparkly gold and white tinsel this week.

It’s not clear who’s responsible for the decorations. On social media, some cyclists and Twitter accounts dedicated to cycling showed their gratitude by sharing photos of the bollards.
