Black Girls Code Will Show Girls How To Build A Webpage At Weekend Workshop In Morgan Park

Girls from 7 to 17 can learn the ins and outs of webpage building.

MORGAN PARK — Have a daughter who wants to learn how to build her own webpage? Space is still available for Black Girls Code‘s workshop Saturday at Morgan Park High School.

The event, hosted by the Chicago chapter of the nonprofit organization, will teach students the fundamentals of site building, using HTML and CSS to create their own pages. The workshop is open to girls ages 7 to 17, and will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the school, 1744 W. Pryor.

The workshop is $35 per person, and check-in will start at 9 a.m. Students don’t need to bring laptops, and lunch will provided. Register here.
