WICKER PARK — It may be too chilly to shop outside, but that doesn’t mean you should give up on local produce during the winter — the Wicker Park Farmers Market heads indoors this weekend.
The indoor farmers market begins this Saturday at The Robey Hall, 2022 W. North Ave.
The market will be open on the first Saturday of each month through April. Hours of operation are 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Last year’s indoor market took place at Chop Shop, 2033 W. North Ave.
The market is plastic-free, which means shoppers must bring their own bags and containers. Compost drop-offs are accepted with a $3 donation via Healthy Soil Compost.
