LOGAN SQUARE — Logan Square’s annual holiday shopping event, “Holidays on the Square,” is set for Dec. 7.
A range of local businesses off the square, from the Logan Theatre to jewelry shop Adornment and Theory, are participating this year. For a full list, visit the event website.
The one-day event invites neighbors to shop at the participating businesses for promotions, treats and special events like trunk shows and Santa appearances.
At the Logan Theatre, for example, folks can expect a holiday market with homemade candles, bath and body goods, holiday crafts and original anime artwork from 1-6 p.m.
The event, organized by local business owners and volunteers, was created to “encourage residents to shop locally and strengthen community ties,” according to its website.
The event is always held the first Saturday of December as a kickoff to the winter holidays.
