ANDERSONVILLE — The Andersonville Chamber of Commerce is again bringing out a trolley to help residents more easily celebrate Small Business Saturday.
More than 100 local businesses will participate in Andersonville’s version of Small Business Saturday, which takes place throughout the neighborhood on Saturday. Local shops will have discounts and specials, and the chamber of commerce will also hold its Shop Local Passport program.
The Shop Local Passport allows residents to record purchases at participating local businesses and be entered into raffles to win prizes. More than 130 local businesses will participate in the program.
The passport program works like this: record at least 10 purchases at participating businesses between Saturday and Dec. 31 and be entered to win prizes, including free entry and special perks at all Andersonville Chamber of Commerce events in 2020.
Passports can be picked up from noon-2 p.m. Saturday at Meeting House Tavern, 5025 N. Clark. Beyond Saturday, the passports can be picked up at the chamber offices at 5217 N. Clark St.
Passports should be mailed or dropped off at the chamber of commerce, 5217 N. Clark St., by Jan. 10. More information on the Shop Local Passport can be found here.
To make participating in Small Business Saturday a bit more convenient, the chamber will again roll out the free trolley. The trolley will run from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and will make eight stops along the Clark Street commercial district.
Stops will be made every 20-30 minutes, with pick-up and drop-off locations at:
