LOGAN SQUARE — Looking to avoid crowded malls and big box stores this holiday season? Check out one of several holiday markets in the area and get unique gifts for everyone on your list in one afternoon.

Here are some options:

Thing-O-Rama sale and swap: Set for noon-6 p.m. Saturday at Kimball Arts Center at 1757 N. Kimball Ave., the Thing-O-Rama sale and swap is for fans of all things vintage. Expect vendors selling art, vintage clothes, records, jewelry and more. There will also be a clothing swap.

Paper Hat’s holiday markets: Paper Hat, a print studio and gallery at 1953 N. Campbell Ave. run by Chicago’s favorite screen printing couple, is hosting two one-day holiday markets, set for Dec. 7 and Dec. 14. The markets will feature the work of a dozen artists and makers. They will both run from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Free coffee will be provided.

Artisan market at Workshop 4200: On Dec. 7, from 11 a.m.-6 p.m., a host of vendors selling everything from handmade goods to vintage furniture will gather at arts warehouse Workshop 4200 at 4200 W. Diversey Ave. for a “winter wonderland and artisan market.” There will be live music, food and beverages.

Same Day Cafe’s first-ever holiday market: The “neighborhood vibes” market is set for 6-10 p.m. Dec. 9 at the cafe, 2651 N. Kedzie Blvd. There will be vintage and handmade goods from vendors like Kitten Surprise Vintage and Plant Babies. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase.

Lula Cafe’s holiday bazaar: Lula’s fifth holiday bazaar is set for 5-9 Dec. 10 at the restaurant, 2537 N. Kedzie Boulevard. The market will feature the work of local artists, designers and writers.

Hopewell Brewing’s holiday bazaar: The brewery at 2760 N. Milwaukee Ave. is throwing its fourth annual holiday bazaar noon-5 p.m. Dec. 14. This year’s vendor lineup includes Adornment and Theory, Bang Bang Pie & Biscuits, Comercio Popular, cursive design, Hello Paper Co., Lost Girls Vintage, Up in the Air Somewhere, Salad Days Pins, Plant Shop Chicago and Fleur. A portion of beer sales will benefit Eight Weeks for Access.

Cheap Thrills warehouse sale: Many of the city’s most popular makers and designers will sell their wares at the 16th semi-annual Cheap Thrills warehouse sale, set for 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 14 at Emporium Logan Square, 2363 N. Milwaukee Ave.

Revolution Brewing’s holiday craft show: More than 40 local artists will sell their wares at Revolution Brewing’s holiday craft show, set for noon-6 p.m. Dec. 15 at 3340 N. Kedzie Ave. There will also be Revolution beer and food trucks. A vendor list will be released in the coming weeks.

Crampus holiday market at Emporium Logan Square: Emporium’s Crampus holiday market, set for 6-11 p.m. Dec. 17 at 2363 N. Milwaukee Ave., is being put on in support of the Chicago Period Project. More than two dozen vendors will be there. You can get in free if you donate pads, tampons or other feminine products.
