WICKER PARK — An Ohio-based boozy ice cream chain appears to be headed to Wicker Park.
Buzzed Bull Creamery applied for an incidental liquor license at 1948 W. North Ave., according to a public notice. The application was filed Nov. 7.
The company has not returned calls for comment.
According to its website, Buzzed Bull uses liquid nitrogen in the creation of alcoholic and non-alcoholic ice creams and milkshakes.
The company has three existing locations in Cincinnati; Maineville, Ohio, and Wilmington, North Carolina.
Six more locations are underway across North Carolina, Arizona, Tennessee, Texas and Missouri. The Chicago site was not listed on the website as of Friday.
The creamery is expected to replace Red Beard Coffee Traders, which left the storefront last year after opening in 2017.
Before the site offered coffee it was the office of dentist Luis Casals.
