HUMBOLDT PARK — A fire ripped through a single-story home in Humboldt Park late Wednesday, causing no injuries, but displacing seven people.
The fire broke out in a home in the 1600 block of North Spaulding Avenue around midnight, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
Firefighters battled the 2-11 alarm blaze as the flames jumped to the neighboring home.
No one was injured in the fire, but six adults and one child are now without a home, according to fire officials.
It’s unclear what caused the fire. No further information was immediately available.
