CHICAGO — Two prominent animal rescues are hosting fundraising galas.
Alive Rescue and PAWS Chicago will hold their respective events on Nov. 15 — and dogs are welcome at both. The shelters take in homeless animals and find foster and permanent homes for them.
Alive’s gala will include food (including vegan and vegetarian options), drinks, a photo booth, music and a live silent and auction. VIP guests will also receive a gift bag, access to a private room and a drink.
The Alive Rescue gala is 8 p.m. Nov. 15 at The Joinery, 2533 W. Homer St. Masquerade attire is optional. General admission tickets are $102 and can only be bought online. Dogs need their own ticket for $25.50.
PAWS’ annual Fur Ball will feature a raffle, auctions, dancing, dinner and drinks. Dogs can come and eat from a special buffet or get pawdicures and massages.
The PAWS Chicago Fur Ball kicks off 6 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Drake Hotel, 140 E. Walton Place. Tickets are available online and start at $400, which covers one person and a dog.
