Customers will be able to donate 20 percent of their bill towards the Gyrls in the H.O.O.D. Foundation, which promotes reproductive education for teens and young women.

BRONZEVILLE — The Gyrls in the H.O.O.D.(Healthy Optimistic Outstanding Determined) Foundation, an Englewood nonprofit aimed at helping teen girls in marginalized neighborhoods, will be teaming up with Home Run Inn for Tuesday’s Fundraising Day at the chain’s new Bronzeville location.

Customers in the mood for some pie and philanthropy will be able to donate 20 percent of their bill to the Southwest Side organization during regular business hours when they show the flyer at the 3401 S. King Drive location below.

Customers who order online will have the option to add the fundraiser to their cart before checking out.

Gyrls in the H.O.O.D. was created by Chez Smith in 2016 to promote reproductive health and education for young girls and women in underserved communities on the South Side.
