BUCKTOWN — The Webster Street Bridge will be closed during daytime hours for a month beginning Monday, Ald. Brian Hopkins (2nd) said.
The bridge needs structural repairs. Construction is expected to end Nov. 25, Hopkins said.
Crews will work 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Sidewalks will remain open to pedestrians and cyclists. Eastbound traffic will be diverted north on Ashland Avenue to Fullerton Avenue. Westbound traffic will be diverted north on Racine Avenue to Fullerton Avenue.
