BACK OF THE YARDS — Buildings usually off-limits — including several in Back of the Yards and Bridgeport — will be open for exploring this weekend during Open House Chicago.
The year’s installment of the wildly popular festival, sponsored by the Chicago Architecture Center, is being held Saturday and Sunday.
Residents and visitors will have a chance to explore 350 architectural treasures and little-known sites across the city that are often exclusive or invite-only. And admission to the buildings is free.
