This year's Open House Chicago, set for Oct. 19-20, features 8 buildings in Uptown.

UPTOWN — Once home to movie stars, Uptown has its share of historic buildings. This weekend, eight of them will be featured during Open House Chicago.

The Chicago Architecture Center’s annual architecture festival will feature buildings with significant and interesting architecture. The festival takes place Saturday and Sunday.

Here is a list of sites in Uptown set to be featured:

Open House Chicago 2019 will offer “behind-the-scenes access” to nearly 350 sites in neighborhoods across Chicago. The sites range from repurposed mansions and historic churches to modern offices and skyscrapers. The tours are all free.
